You're in Miami, do as the Miamians do. Eat Cuban.
1. Versailles (Little Havana) - The heart of Cuban Miami. Cafe con leche and heaping plates of nostalgia.
2. La Carreta at Key Biscayne (Key Biscayne) - Filling, tasty Cuban cuisine like beans, rice, steak, and tres leches.
3. Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine (North Beach) - Never mind the name, this is Cuban cuisine, as authentic as it gets.
4. Havana Harry’s (Coral Gables) - Freshest, cleanest Cuban food in town.
5. Cheli’s Café (Wynwood/Design District) - Tiny, outdoor café that’s a blockbuster with the breakfast crowd.
6. El Rey De Las Fritas (Little Havana) - Home of the frita, an only-in-Miami mystery sandwich that many call a Cuban hamburger.
7. Las Olas Café (South Beach) - Down ‘n dirty Cuban food. Not for lightweights.
8. Tete Restaurant (Little Havana) - Classically trained chef spares Little Havana of same-old, same-old; opts for lighter, finer Caribbean-influenced fare.
9. Exquisito (Little Havana) - Authentic Cuban where the waitresses lovingly call you mi amorcito.
10. David’s Café II (South Beach) - The perfect start to your day and/or ending to your night.
