10K Reprint for ‘Vogue Italia’ Black Issue
Lauren Garroni
July 14, 2008
Last Friday, I made my monthly pilgrimage to Casa Magazine, and I couldn't help but be intrigued by the woman buying one each of all four covers of the newly released July Vogue Italia. She spent a good 15 minutes arguing with the owner about the quality of each issue. And she wasn't the only one; the much-talked-about "Black Issue" of Vogue Italia is becoming a collectors' item. Unsurprisingly, Condé Nast is printing another 10,000 copies to meet demand. The magazine only hit US newsstands on June 11, but it is already sold out all over New York. This is the first time in over a decade that fashionistas have clamored for an issue with such fever. If you're looking to score all four covers yourself, be prepared to shell out a full Benjamin, since each copy costs $22 in the States.

The price that it sell for is actually $15.95. I know because that’s how much I got it from the newsstand for and the issue is clearly marked at that price. Lemme find out people are capitalizing! LOL!
