Alice Dellal Succeeds (Kate Moss)

Can you hear that sound? It’s the buzz surrounding Alice Dellal, a sometimes heiress, sometimes model, generating a large reverb through the fashion industry for her trashy style and rumored succession of Kate Moss as the new face of Agent Provocateur. WhoWhatWearDaily.com just named the British-Brazilian hybrid their “Girl of the Month,” and it’s easy to see why (past G.O.T.M.’s include Ally Hilfiger, Peaches Geldof, and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld).
The fashion world adores a rebel (we think a half-shaved head and combat boots qualifies), and when your godfather is Mario Testino (and her godfather is indeed Mario Testino), the barriers are already broken down for you. Back in February, AP dropped Lily Allen as their campaign header after disagreements over the photos, but it looks like they’ve found their girl. If you want to congratulate her, head over to her ambiguous MySpace page—she goes by oliv D.C.—and post a comment on her wall. Just don’t get freaked out by the death metal track that plays. She has a rep to maintain.
