Lately all Michael can talk about is all the things he is planning to do when he gets out! He is full of ambition and obsessed with many projects! Books, documentaries, art, he wants to do it all! BUT most of all he wants to give back! Expect a more charitable selfless man!

Lets hope that the Melendez family isn't waiting for him outside the prison, cause drug dealer or not, if that was my brother, Michael's freedom would be short-lived.

Steve, *SIGH* What do I say to the eternal optimist? Just remember that hustlers are not good company to keep. You tend to have lighter pockets from the experience. You were thrown under the bus by him once, there's an excellent possibility it may happen again in the near future. Never forget what was imposed on you before. As for searching for your third wife, I hope you find her. You seem like a nice guy.

I knew Mike back at Grissom Middle School. He was always nice to everyone but was tortured by the jock types there. I find this story very very tragic. However, after watching some of his interviews he seems just a bit crazy don't you think? From a psychological point of view it seems that Mike has been self-destructive since the early 80's. It really is a shame too since he was such a nice person. I really think that Mike will be disappointed with the world when he gets out. Many things as well as attitudes have changed in the last 14 years and I don't think that he will relate as easily to the world as it is today. That being said, I really hope things work out well for Mike. Oh yeah, one more thing....you mentioned in the article that he's getting it up the ass almost every day.....I honestly don't think he's got a problem with that at all unless the guy is inhumanly large and doesn't use any lube or at least spit on his cock!

I believe Michael will be a better human being when he gets out. There's nothing to do in prison besides get messed with on a daily basis and wait and hope and I bet he's figured out some really important things while going through the system. Looking forward to his release.

I hope he gets out soon, it'll be interesting to see what he'll do. Wonder if he'll release that autobiography he's been working on..

Michael Alig was a revolutionary to the club scene in NY, the same way my friends and i were to the rave scene, I can understand the madness that came with that period of time, the whole lot, crazy/dangerous people, lots of money, few responsibilities, a shit load of drugs ect ect... At the end of the day Michael made a mistake, it's shouldn't be too hard to understand, that when your totally hooked on heroin, crack, taking heaps of K, and poping rohypnol (like it's going out of fashion), your going to do something you regret ! lets not forget, rohypnol is other wise known as the date rape drug, as it effects your ability to remember/function/make sensible decisions. I live in Australia, and in the early days worked with alot of people from the Uk, and a few from the Us, and there are many others that made really bad decisions that cost them their freedom as a result of drugs, so what i'm saying is, these mistakes happens ALL over the world, and alot of the time commited by the nicest people..only..for a freak/blurry minute they lost all sense of right and wrong. Good luck Michael, you have a second chance.

Steve, I do think Michael needs your friendship in his life for the "new world". He may seem selfish and unappreciative of your guidance at times because of his mistakes...but I think he knows that people like you are the people who keep him together. As I once told Lovepurple, it's hard to find constructive friends in the party scene. I have hope in him as well. You're doing the right thing by being there for him no matter what's happened. A real friend sticks around through any repercussions. You seem like a genuinely good person Steve. Also, I enjoy your writing. :) <3 JaxXx xo.
