An Open Letter To Agyness Deyn
You owe us money for a new pair of jeans. And happy birthday!

Androgynous beauty Agyness Deyn looked stunning and yes, feminine, at her birthday bash—which was also Anna Sui’s Fashion Week after-party—at Don Hill’s last Thursday. While the MisShapes did their thing behind the booth, Jeremy Scott, Sofia Lamar, and the rest of their crew sidled up to the bar for free Belvedere. Wearing a pink top and purple gloves, Deyn crowd-surfed as English indie rockers the Paddingtons overtook the stage. When one of our friends asked Deyn if we could smoke in the small bar, she laughed, “Um, yeah, I’m sure that’ll be fine. It’s my birthday!” Geordon Nicol presented the waif with a cake, which she then proceeded to throw into the crowd. By the end of the night, everyone was covered in saccharine, which was when we made our sweet departure. —N.H.
