What a great show!  And now that it has been revealed that Paquin and Moyer are involved in an off-screen romance, the show will continue to rise in the ratings. Can anyone say Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe?  Will Paquin and Moyers’ real life romance translate into more steamy True Blood scenes?  Can’t wait to find out!

I too am thrilled to see how their real romance plays on screen. True Blood is my absolute favorite show; and my new obsession!

I buy Anna as a lot of things but this is a really weird and not entirely believable role - she is as much “small town” as if you cast Pamela Anderson in the same role (differently but definitely strikes me as a weird character to stuff her into).

I call bullsh*t on the real-life romance thing.  I suspect it is just to drum up publicity for the show.  Stephen is 35+ with two kids, not typical for a daliance with a twenty-something actress.

As Stephen escorted her to the SAG awards in Jan and several other awards shows...it seems like a lot of effort (ie a nine or ten month commitment) to drum up publicity as Anna Konda suggests.  But hey it could be a publicity ploy or maybe just two actors trying to have a relationship mostly out of the public eye.  Stephen rarely gives personal info other that to talk about his kids (but not the kids’ mom or moms).  And Anna supposedly dated Kieran Culkin for quite a while without ever officially commenting on it.

They’re the real thing. Charlaine Harris, the author of the books upon which the show is based, confirmed it on her web site after several posters suggested it was a publicity stunt. She spent time with them at the True Blood premiere and after party. See message #324 at http://charlaineharris.master.com/texis/master/search/showmsg.html?id=48d5db8c10&Catid=457073b03#msg319.

Also, see the non-publicity photos of Anna and Stephen hanging out together (you might have to register to view these). http://anna-paquin.net/images/displayimage.php?album=435&pos=3

Come on, if it’s just a publicity thing, then why do they keep it a secret??

And just because he’s 35+ and a dad he can’t be with a 26 year old woman?? That was the most silliest thing I’ve heard
