David Foote, Venezuelan artist about town, is embarking on his next exploration: the vast world of consumerism. He’s bringing high art to a city near you -- large metropolises and one-horse towns alike. All through the magic that is the Internets. Pairing with names such as: Marianella Soaps, Izola, Barterhouse Wines, KCDC Skateshop, Alternative Apparel, Ortolan, Tuleste Jewelery, Timo Neckwear, 4FRNT Skis, and design boutique Bo Concept, David Foote released the Limited Edition No. 10 collection in Bo Concept retail locations and online.
Of the switch from designing gallery pieces to collectible goods, Foote says, “To be completely honest, this collaboration was the most colossal undertaking of my career both fiscally and physiologically. I think as a person you are defined by what ripples are left behind when you jump out of the pond, and for me this whole process and the fact that a part benefits St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital made the upstream swim worth every moment.” The collection includes design concepts for home, wardrobe, and lifestyle—well, whipping out the limited-edition artist signature bottle of vino is a surefire way to get to second base on a first date.

Seriously, a friend of mine has a coat from H & M and it has a print like this one all over it. Well.. the coat is pretty old, so I’m guessing he ‘borowed’ the designs from H & M. Oh well..Thievery is flattery..I guess????? For a good cause though.
