En Gar-de, Leto!

Jared Leto stole my jacket. Yesterday, while readying myself for a magazine photo shoot, I came across the leather-and-plaid number seen left. I asked to borrow it for the afternoon, but it turns out they had already sent it over to Mark David Chapman for some event. What about my event, Leto?
The piece is part of Gar-de’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Gar-de, a recently formed New York design collective, collaborates with fashion types around the world to create seasonal sartorial themes. This go-around: leather. Working with some of the leading leather pundits in Italy, Gar-de has come up with an altogether fresh take on the bomber and other hide-inspired digs. Most striking are the geometric details of each piece—the dramatic collars and asymetrical cuts—which yoke together avant-garde and, um, avant avant-garde. Oh, and Catalano? Watch yourself, because it is so on! Pictures after the jump!

How is it possible that someone stole something from you that never even belonged to you?

That Plaid/Leather jacket has Jared’s name written ALL
over it LOL. He lives in plaid grunge, skinny jeans,
black leather and slip on Van’s with a Fedora. It’s like
his trademark uniform haha
Besides, he’s a trendsetter and it looks good on him

thank god you’re a professional and this “jacket stealing” didn’t take away from your ability to steal the show on set.
that’s a wrap.
