BlackBook Fetes Good Night Mr. Lewis, Bribes Kid Cudi with Big Macs

View Gallery Usually, when a magazine party's staple open bar runneth dry, it means the party is finis. But last night, at the Good Night Mr. Lewis one year anniversary party held at Greenhouse, we ignored that tradition and celebrated Steve Lewis's memorable year at BlackBook well into the wee hours with our new friends Svedka, Paul Sevigny, Kid Cudi, and LMFAO. The party was two months overdue, as Steve actually turned one back in February, but better late than never. Upstairs, Jesse Marco, Paul Sevigny, and Jus Ske spun tunes for hundreds of Steve’s friends and followers. (Sevigny was a real trooper, generously hosting a table for his pal Steve even though the equipment was broken.) Downstairs, Chloe residents Matt & Maia DJed for those focused on getting their Svedka fix in a forest enclave, away from LED lights on the main floor. After guests properly cleaned out the open bar, Kid Cudi banged out two of his bangers just because he could, and the kids stayed put for Cali hip-electro-hoppers LMFAO, who performed their hit “I’m in Miami Bitch.” The Cudi performance was a surprise even to us, as we bartered two Big Mac value meals for the live show. Special thanks go out to the Greenhouse busboy who went on the munchies run with ten dollars in hand and got Cudi to put his McDonald’s where his mouth is.
