Carrie Bradshaw Has Sex in the High

See that picture on the left? Know who it is? Hint: Since then she's had loads of sex and she lives in the city. It's Carrie Bradshaw in high school! Budding pseudo-journalist, Upper-Eastsider in training, and without a doubt, school tramp. Multiple partners in high school isn't as endearing when you're not yet a sex columnist. But maybe Carrie wasn't a raging slut, and I'm being quick to judge. Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell will set the record straight with The Carrie Diaries, two books that will follow Ms. Bradshaw as she hides zits with foundation and argues over what font should be used in the yearbook (Helvetica!!!).

Apparently the books (the first one debuting in 2010) will take “readers back to Carrie Bradshaw’s formative years in high school, giving an inside look at Carrie’s friendships, romances and how she realized her dream of becoming a writer.” The publisher also says that “"Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd—she led it. It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.” I wonder if Gossip Girl’s success had anything to do with this? Nah.
