Not willing to take someone else’s opinion re: dullsville...I’ll be watching! And, for another bit of Chanel background, plus some of MacLaine’s earlier ‘French’ roles...take a look and enjoy! http://hubpages.com/hub/Coco-Chanel-new-production

The movie was long and dull and the very American actress Shirley MacLaine was miscast as totally French Chanel.

My question is, what is the wonderful music that flows through the movie?

UMMMM, the music, good question! Maybe the Lifetime Channel website will have details.  Since I know so little about the authentic woman, Chanel, am not at all able to authoritatively state whether MacLaine miscast or not. The production was, after all, produced with USA audiences in mind. And while long, I enjoyed learning so much about Chanel’s earlier life circumstances. So I enjoyed the production.
