Cut & Paste Artists @ Roebling Hall

Roebling Hall's "All Cut Up" group show is a sampler plate piecing together work of varying textures, colors and sensibilities. Go there tonight to revel in a mosaic of different styles, sensibilities, and artistic intentions from Nico Vascellari and Erik Benson. Named for its collage-like collection of participating artists, the show is unified only by how unlike one piece is from the next. There are no pretentious themes or grand statements at stake -- just an amassing of talent across mixed media. For those without the wherewithal to flit around town for all the necessary opening receptions, this taster provides an easy entry point into the new season, without having to scale the overwhelming litany of gallery shows bowing tonight and over the next several weeks. "All Cut Up" opens tonight with a reception and ends in October.
