DVF Does Wonder Woman Comic Book

Earlier this year, Diane Von Furstenberg announced that she’d be launching a Wonder Woman-inspired capsule collection for DC Comics in time for the holidays. What she hasn’t said, up until now, is that the collection will include its very own comic -- with a Gloria Steinem forward and a letter from Lynda Carter no less.

“The project is a collaboration with Vital Voices, a women’s NGO,” and will feature “a collection of original cover art throughout the years of Wonder Woman’s illustrious life,” says Fashionista. The tome, which will be stocked at DVF boutiques and on the brand’s website, will be available as of October 15. (Apparently the precious info on this comic book project was leaked early, causing great indignation and rage among the inhabitants of Paradise Island.) As for the superhero-inspired clothing’s wearability, one assumes it might incorporate at least one aggressive bustier.
