If you natter on about yourself to interview subjects the way you just did in this article, I can see why so many of them get annoyed.

Thank you Christina Ricci! At least I’m not the only one who thinks this stripper culture is extremely degrading--on all these reality shows and all over the media women emulate strippers and porn stars, which is how they get their self worth.  The girl that can act most like a whore is rewarded and idolized.
And then there are the men who fall for it and think it’s really hot. Well...it’s about time men appreciated real women who work their asses off and still try their best to be beautiful in a sexy but classy way. I’m proud not to be a sex object

I don’t see why anyone bothers to interview actors anymore.  It’s all just press tp promote sales of movies.  Christina Ricci in one breath denounces misogyny and sexism and then in the next lauds the Wachowskis for being such great people.  Here’s the thing Christina, my dearest friend worked as their assistant for 6 years and witnessed and was subjected to the Wachowskis misogyny and sexism.  Just because someone is transgender does not mean they’re exempt from prejudice towards biological women.  Christina should just stick to the photo op.

I love the hate on for strippers when in every one of those photos she more or less looks like one.  Her outlook is very classist and strange.  She values polite behavior but says “fuck”, she dislikes the sexualization of women yet appears in very sexualized imagery herself, and makes far more money than most of the women she’s condemning.  That says a lot about Ms. Ricci.

I wonder if when she is a mother (if she is a mother) she will still appear ‘sexy’ to get Hollywood roles, sexy to people other than her husband, of course.  If not, her career may very well be over.

What happened to Christina Ricci? She used to be cool. Now she just sounds like Tom Wolf of “I Boinked Charlotte Simmons” fame,

You know, the type of person who talks about how women used to be “ashamed” of this and that and what a terrible tragedy it is that we’re no longer shaming them.

And if she thinks that none of the pictures of her here are in any way sexualized, she’s deluding herself. But hey, it’s OK if SHE does it, it’s just not OK for all those low-class, trashy OTHER people to make a living this way, correct?
