Enter to Win Entrance to ‘Mad Men’

Speaking of Mad Men, the excellent TV show is running a contest -- by turns amusing and cringe-worthy -- that goads contestants into performing monologues as Mad Men characters. The eventual winner gets a walk-on role in the actual show. Far and away the current favorite at over a thousand votes is Ty Mahany as Don Draper, above. A little Glengarry Glen Ross, but not bad. Contest deadline is August 25, should you care to join the thespianic fray.

If this guy Ty is getting serious votes because he’s placing his video on blogs like this, then hopefully i’ll get some votes due to my version of this competition.

The contest is all about the votes. It’s a marketing strategy and so far Ty has concurred for himself and AMC...and kudos to him for it. But check out some others… like mine! I’m out on the web looking for ideas on how to do AMC’s marketing too...he, he. No, I’m just feeling really competitive. There’s 3 I’ve posted… take a look! And thanks!
