KCRW Blogs Faves in Fives

Because we can't write about Los Angeles community radio station KCRW enough, we thought we'd give them even more press than they've already gotten from the Blackbook family. The station's DJs and talk-show talent have launched a new blog that's actually quite cute and useful -- it's called 5ive Things.

Already they’ve got some good stuff on the board: Rob Long posted his5 Best Martinis in Los Angeles (number one is Musso & Frank’s) and—sure to be debated—he’s partial to the gin martini (no vodka, please).

Creative director and host of Morning Becomes Eclectic Jason Bentley weighed in on his favorite condiments, which includes a few you’ve probably never heard of (Sriracha anyone?) and has inspired a surprisingly spirited debate amongst the peanut gallery.

Lest you think there’s no music or art on the blog, have no fear ... Jason Eldredge recommends five great TV series to watch on DVD, Dan Wilcox gives a thumbs up to five ways to expose kids to music, and Melissa Grant recommends five songs to get you through the final mile of your morning or evening run.

Expect a list a week until they’ve figured out how the universe works.
