Why was Carolina Herrera‘s show for spring ‘O8 looking so much more embellished and glamorous than usual? ”Lori Goldstein is designing the whole collection,” said one wag. “Carolina doesn’t even try to hide it.”
Unlike many New York designers, Donna Karan will not be hosting an exclusive—not to mention expensive—dinner after her show on Wednesday. Why not? She’s on the first plane she could catch post-show to Israel for Rosh Hashanah. —M.G.
