So yes, our videographer Liz Glover has a certain history with Vincent Gallo. And though things began civilly enough, things degenerated when -- all in good fun! -- Liz made a crack about Gallo's leather jacket, asking if it was in fact pleather. Let the record reflect we are in no way insinuating that Vincent Gallo would wear a pleather jacket! Quite the opposite in fact. Nevertheless, the jibe inspired Gallo's ire: "If you print that [Ed. note: 'print'?], I will track you down and make you wish you had never been born." Harsh! But Liz's daddy was a Green Beret, so she's not afeared. Hit the jump to relish the tender exchange.
It should be duly noted—Liz, more out of karmic than physical anxiety, only agreed to show the clip if she could remove the actual “pleather” remark, since she told Gallo she’d cut it. And in fact I had to browbeat her into showing the clip at all. Therefore, please direct all anti-borning angst care of this website, not to Ms. Glover, who’s far tougher anyway.

It works like this:
get a couple of individuals with a video camera and a microphone, send them to a place where more or less famous people are and let them ask/yell any question (it doesn’t matter if the question is silly, rude, whatever).
Then put the result in your blog and you can be sure you will receive enough comments bashing the person who was videographed and did or didn’t answer those questions, calling him/her douchebag, Z-lister, drunkard, twat, whatever (it doesn’t matter if the answer was ironic, intelligent, wathever).

Gallo, What was he soppose to do ? I don’t think he was out of hand at all. he looked like he was just taking to an annoying camera person and looked calm to me. It’s all stupied. Can’t the man go to a show and not be bothered with such bull.

She was out of line but of course he looks like the bad guy. That dude, his movies and even his jacket are mthafckn’ cool. Who else has the balls to make movies that are drastically different, not too many people. He is an original, a true artist and yeah maybe sensitive but who the fuck isn’t??

Okay, Gil. Whatever: I’m an artist, and I’m as originally generative as Gallo, and I can take criticism (let alone a sideways comment on my clothing). It’s a fucking jacket - if your jacket is so important that you’ll threaten someone in that matter over a comment, you need to climb back up into the womb for a few more, because you’re not ready for life yet. If he’s an artist, he obviously went to college for it, and had to sit through serious critique. If he didn’t, and never had anything of he did taken apart by anyone, then he has no right (nor does anyone else) to refer to himself as an artist. I give 10 two-foot loldongs for Liz on that one - she shouldn’t have backed down. Here I thought NYC was rough; he should go to Philly, or something.

Ok, so he got a little over exicted about the comment, but why is she asking him about his jacket? He probably doesn’t take sarcasm to well either, but you know what he’s f***ing Vincent Gallo. You can love him or hate him and I love him more after seeing this. So, many actors would just roll with it to appear more humorous, but Vincent is not that kind of guy. Respect the man and his jackets. He’s always in good fashion when speaking to someone and by what he wears.

i’d never heard of this “guy” before, so i googled him...what a douche! the guy’s a complete egomaniac who quit painting to deny people his beautiful paintings and “did it out of spite!”...could he be any more full of himself? he also sounds like a bigoted asshole too...wants to donate his sperm, but not to anyone with dark skin...i say you go Liz! He deserved your comments and more! It was way out line for him to threaten you like that
