The Late Hector Kipling is the first book that I simple could not put down. It took me only three days to actually finish it from cover to cover. I am not seriously an avid reader, especially of dark comedy but it was a book that I could actually relate somewhat to.

If it was made to a movie, I would watch it, and if there were another book published from this author/actor, I would surely read it. Five to ten stars in my book, easily.

I just started this book the other day and like all of my favorite books do, it has grabbed me and shaken me and made me eager to try tackling my writing demons (again). I do hope Thewlis writes another, or does anything, because he’s pretty much the most brilliant person alive.

That is all.
