Free Airport Wifi Roundup
November 18, 2008
The holidays are coming. And along with them, long waits at airports, missed/bumped flights, sleeping on hard, cold airport benches, and tears of frustration (OK, maybe that last one is just me). In any case, this is when you're most likely to spend quality time in a terminal or two. Luckily, there's a free wifi silver lining -- at least at some airports. This way you can at least blog about your distress in real time. Major airports giving away the goods include San Diego, Long Beach, Las Vegas, Honolulu, New York JFK's Terminal 6 (i.e. JetBlue), and Pittsburgh. For a comprehensive list, click here.

Oh, good to know that Phoenix Sky Harbor offers free Wifi...I didn’t realize that. I was sad to see that the Seattle airport doesn’t offer it for free, but I guess 1/2 isn’t too bad. One of the worst things is waiting in an airport with nothing to do. I completely rely on my internet and iPhone, mainly because playing games helps me to get me through the wait.
