This guy never had an original idea in his life. He see everyone opening steak houses so he opens one. He sees everyone opening BBQ restaurants so he opens one. This guy is a fake and a copy cat. He has no real connection with the food, which is the soul and shoud be the driving force of a restaurant. So i have to disagree with the author of this article. Just because Steve can’t make does not mean ANYTHING.

it’s not that i’m a fan of br guest either. hey i don’t visit his joints. indeed when i was working on his joint under the cobblestones of 9th avenue between 13th and 14th he gave me a 500 gift certificate which i never used. but steve hanson has a huge organization is well funded and has serious brands and if he’s folding whats next. it means something. its the tip of a tipping iceberg

Back four or five years ago it wasn’t such a terrible venue. I wasn’t aware it was still around however. Wouldn’t be a terrible space for something else.
