“Why would he say that?
Exactly. Good question. Next thing you know, he is being quoted on other websites, saying he’s ” As in, I guess, I’m insane or something.”

I think that full sentence is supposed to read, “Next thing you know, he is being quoted on other websites, saying he’s “surprised” that I “haven’t killed anyone yet.”

This interview just make Abbe seem more crazy.  Josh and Emily haven’t written for Gawker in over a year.  And yet she’s still ranting on and on about them.  I know she’s nothing more than a simple attention-seeker, but she goes about it in a singularly nutty way.

Isn’t the restaurant/club industry just as insular and cliquey/circle-jerkish as any other? Be it bloggers, bartenders, or hipsters, there’s a message board for all of them, and it feels like so many of the angry service-industrites end up at your site. Just sayin’.

Oh, sure Josh. Oh whoops, I mean “GiGi”.

Yeah, Abbe has been a commenter at Gawker for over a year, but you’re still so scared of her, that you have to ban her, because you know that your stupid Top Chef recaps suck.

I know you’re nothing but an unemployed journalist-wannabe, but you go about it in a singularly punkassed kind of way.

Whatever, “whatever”. You must be thinking of shamelessrestaurants.com or bitterwaitress.com

Or are you thinking of angry restaurant diners? That’s eater.com

Oh yeah, and when your hard-earned, 10-hours-straight-without-a-break, no-insurance, no-benefits salary gets stolen from you by your employers, I’m sure you won’t be “angry” about it at all.

abbe diaz, when are you going to realize that nobody cares about this anymore and you’re the only one that even remembers those gawker posts?  you just keep reminding everyone of how insane you are with these rants. and dick, of course people are scared of her.  only a crazy person would care this much about something so meaningless.

move on and let it go, woman!  everyone else has.

Actually, Josh writes for Gawker now, every week, the day after Top Chef airs. That’s the whole point of this interview - that he can’t take criticism for his lame Top Chef bashing, which I heard he doesn’t even get paid for writing anyway.

And I like how you gloss over the fact that he had sex with his co-worker and then bragged about in Page Six. Yeah, he’s a real stand-up guy, and Abbe is the “nutty” one.

You should also be reminded that if Joshua Stein wasn’t such a weak coward, running to his friend, the managing editor of Gawker, to get Abbe banned, Abbe wouldn’t need to “rant” about it now in the first place.

And Gawker should be ashamed of themselves for being so obviously discriminatory and nepotistic. If they banned everyone on the supposed grounds that they banned Abbe, over half of their commenters would be gone.

Actually, there are alot of us that do remember the Gawker posts. Especially since it was only 2 days ago that it happened.

And only an idiot with limited intelligence would keep using “crazy” as an insult. Try backing up your claims with some facts, like Abbe always does.
