I highly doubt LL asked for privacy. High end stores provide that as a courtesy because they want the high dollars a celeb brings in. Chances are she was being paid to shop there. I see your point, but you come across as jealous. If you don’t like NY life, maybe you should move somewhere less congested.
As far as your phrase, “everybody downtown’s friend’? horrible grammar.

u got it wrong pal.. i got it right.. i fact check.. my editor checks my grammar.. i write like i speak and im not perfect and i love the life here in nyc.. i just dont understand why 6 cops are protecting a b lister like her. the hood protects itself and has for awhile. she shops in the area often. yesterday’s commotion was uncalled for. lots of real celebs live within a few blocks of yesterdays circus. they walk amongst us

Mr.Lewis
What do you expect from a bunch of batshit crazy pretentious narcissists who have taken over the city like the bubonic plague.

But what inquiring minds REALLY want to know is what are the despicable things you have seen her do?  Lol!

I happen to think that she’s in fact an A lister, other wise she would not be treated the ways she does. This celebrity is just being who she is, and even with all her trouble she manages to not only attract crowds and paparazzi but also to work with legendary actors in her new movies.Case in point Deniro in “Machete” (filming)and next with Woody Harrelson in the “Other side” (pre-production).
