oh poor little spoiled girl. this chick leaves a trail of people scratching their head wondering why they ever took her call to begin with.  the good thing about the recession is it shakes out incompotents like her.  sounds to me like someone couldnt hang on to power, happens to many a pretty face without a brain.  nice house but nobody is home.  maybe she can blame the scrarecrow from wizard of oz next for her follies.

I know Emma. She is a self-made, hard working, woman who trusted people that had intentions all along. When Mr. L Black came into the picture, towards the end of the project, things got shady. You can’t just rob someone of everything they’ve worked for and get away with it. I believe these investors are learning a lesson they should have learned back in preschool ... being a bad person, a greedy person, who engages in underhanded behavior never pays off… their sins should be shouted from the roof tops…

hard working? self-made? who cares about hard working, its effectiveness and results that matter.  just ask hank greenberg, steve jobs or Niklas Zennstrom.  my dad pushed an electrical cart for 40 years and died in debt due to hospital bills, he was hard working, no?  and self made, he never took a dime from nobody.  so exactly how self made was she? unless she put up her own money, seems to me she took over $2million of investor money, hardly self made. when you take money, you get in bed with the people that gave it to you, plain and simple.  here is a thought, why doesnt she just give back the $2million, then im sure the investors would give her the company back, oh wait, she probably spent (err wasted) it all.  such a shame, double happiness was a great place to hang.  even dad liked it.

Threatening and bullying show not only the unprofessionalism involved in this whole fiasco, but also the kinds of people Emma had to be dealing with for 2 years. I think she is doing absolutely the right thing by walking away from the project, and I’m pretty sure karma will come back to bite them when all is said and done.  They should be ashamed of what they did, and sneaking around and plotting behind the driving force’s back is absurd… had they been unhappy, they could have negotiated a deal to bring in another person to help and work TOGETHER rather than being shady and conniving. Two thumbs down for them!

How does anyone start up their own business for the first time? How does anyone go to college these days without finical backing from somewhere else? You can be self-made and still require the investment of others. Like I said, I know Emma and she did not waste their money. She wasn’t living a lavish life style and she paid her own bills, and worked the whole time during this project. Most venues have investors. I can’t think of any major nyc night club off hand that have only one person backing the whole project. For the record, not all of the 2million was everyone else’s money. She put ALL her savings into this place. It’s really hard to run efficiently when investors set a budget and wonder how they ended up with a contractor or two that was less than quality. You get what you pay for and these people are cheap and gave her such budgetary restrictions that it’s amazing she was able to get all this done in the first place. I know these investors too ... terrorists who used Emma to make all these connections (they knew no one) and just as the project was coming to completion they came up with an underhanded plan (threats included) to out her and split up her shares. People do get back what they put in, and these investors fall under the laws of the universe like everyone else.. although I don’t think they will enjoy their returns. Being dirty doesn’t pay...You can learn that lesson from a book, or in a pile of your own vomit…
