‘Gossip Girl’ Guide to NYC Wining & Dining

While I'm certainly no authority on Gossip Girl -- quite the reverse actually -- I do try to (occasionally!) give the people what they want. Therefore, enjoy this selective rundown of GG restaurant and nightlife set locations in New York, refined to overlap with our own BlackBook recommendations. You know you love it, and so on and so forth.
151 - Blair offers up this Lower East Side dive bar as a drinks destination. Does not compute.
1Oak - As previously noted, Serena left her cellphone here (along with an unpaid tab) while doin’ some debauchery.
Barrio Chino - Serena and Blair got blasted here on Thanksgiving, back in the day. Memories!
The Box - Real-life setting for “Victrola,” Chuck’s would-be burlesque lounge.
Café Habana - Dan grabs scrumptious Cuban sandwiches from this legendary joint.
Campbell Apartment - Grand Central lounge where Serena banged Nate and vicey-versey, back in the day.
Decibel - Isabel made out with the bartender here! Wait, who’s Isabel?
Geisha - Blair and Nate enjoy an awkward meal here in the show’s pilot.
Marquee - Lots of action here—slumber party, trickery, deceit, revenge, inappropriate smooching, the usual. Blair is involved.
The Modern @ MoMA - Nate once tried to bribe Blair into getting back together by offering her dessert from the austere fine-dining room at the Museum of Modern Art.
New York Palace Hotel - Chuck treats Serena to a grilled cheese sammy with truffle oil in the kitchen of Gilt, the resto at the New York Palace. In return, Serena treats Chuck to a knee in the balls. The sandwich is now on the menu; groinal abuse available only on request and by special arrangement.
Teany - Dan likes Moby’s lil’ teahouse. So says the GG blog.
Veselka - Pierogies were allegedly procured here by Dan and Vanessa. Hard to eat one in a sexy way on-camera, though.
Waverly Inn - Another of Blair’s faves for a quick bite, assuming you can arm-wrestle a battalion of publicists.
Further GG-NYC action can be had with your homies at Gridskipper, Metromix, and Socialight.
