BlackBook
June 30, 2008
We're extraordinarily pleased to welcome Grayle Howlett as the new president and publisher of BlackBook Media. After an extensive search and interviews with a great many candidates sporting a commendable breadth of skills, Howlett made the choice easy by rising above an impressive field. His unique blend of big-brand accomplishment and startup tenacity make him ideally suited for BlackBook, and his resume speaks for itself.
Howlett’s previous work covers 15 years of sales, marketing, and management across a diverse array of print and online properties. He’s served as publisher for Radar and Tracks magazines, as well as associate publisher at Sports Illustrated. In the digital space, he’s worked with AT&T, Firebrand, and ustyleme.com. It’s a mix of experience that will serve BlackBook well in its present and future incarnations.
Howlett joins an energized marketing and advertising team that’s already rolling out several new initiatives across multiple platforms in BlackBook’s magazine, guides, and online properties. We expect he’ll lead the group—and the company at large—to a new level of success.
