This is actually pretty cool. To spy a character like this and draw inspiration from him takes an inspired eye. Artists do view things differently from everybody else. Some might call them crazy, disillusioned.

He's more of a classic tramp than homeless: notice that he's perfectly shaven.

Vic I'm sure he's homeless. Not even greasy hair hipsters come that dirty. I love the top half layering, but the extra wide legs of his pants are just eh to me. He probably has all his pants underneath that larger set of pants.

Note about his facial hair: many Chinese men cannot grow a decent beard if their lives depended on it. Also, he is not wearing "wide legs" it's colder than a polar bears toe nails in Ningbo. He's just layering up to stay warm. I do like his hair, I can't get my hair like his no matter how much product I put in it.

The person turned out to be mentally ill and living on the streets because he was separated from his family. Someone from his home town recognized him in the photos and he was apparently reunited.
