Immaterial Goods at Lana Santorelli Gallery

The Jade Nectar Gallery in Southampton, New York opened in the summer of 2005. Since then, it's been renamed, overhauled, and transported into the city proper as the Lana Santorelli Gallery, named after its owner and director. Opening on March 13th, its latest exhibition, "Abstraction," features up-and-coming artists whose works are connected by their decided attempts to take something tangible and transform it into an elusive work of art (see left for Miranda Small's Shimmer, made from brass and copper wire). "Abstraction" runs through April 26th. —N.H.
