The promo line for a new snack explains, "PickleSickle Pickle Juice Frozen Treats Combine Surprisingly Popular Taste & Health Benefits." Not unlike, say, orange or apple juice, pickle juice is made from freshly squeezed pickles, not leftover brine as we'd originally assumed. "We use 100% of the pickle," says PickleSickle Co-Founder David Millar. And—get this—the epicurean upstart has been targeting pregnant women as its desired demographic. PickleSickles come in packages of 16, and apparently "help to control the growth of unhealthy bacteria in the body." Um, gross. —Nick Haramis
