Ironically, I share the same need for escapism as Mr. Codling does via Christopher Walken. As a commercial illustrator, enduring economical stress in the summer of 2008, I ,by chance, watched a Walken film I hadn’t seen in several years, called THE DEAD ZONE. I instantly took the bait, and have been hooked on this fabulous actor ever since.  His facial and physical demeanor as a performer, taking on a chameleonic personality all of its own, makes him one of the most fascinating actors to watch. Like Mr. Codling, I have found drawing his face a soothing reprieve from the angst of today’s world. Thank you, Mr. Codling, for sharing your exquisite portraits of Christopher Walken with the rest of us. And, thank you, Mr. Walken for your beautiful face.
