Marilyn Monroe Designs Fashion from the Grave

This celebrity clothing line comes with a little twist -- the "designer" is Marilyn Monroe. No, the actress hasn't come back from the dead to realize her true passion of creative fashion. Instead, a licensing firm for Shaw Archives has paired with UK apparel manufacturer Blues Clothing to produce a collection for young adults. Although you can currently buy Marilyn Monroe t-shirts, handbags, and other accessories at major retailers, this collection would produce more ready-to-wear pieces, like dresses and outerwear. No word on the design concept, although the president of Bradford Licensing says it might have a "retro look" -- a nod to the era in which Monroe was a star. But you can expect "trendy, fashionable, and girly" clothes just like the star herself. That should make Lindsay Lohan happy.
