Marshmallow Peeps Find Their Place

Easter is behind us, but we can still appreciate the creepy magic of the peep. National Geographic Traveler asked readers to submit photos of the marshmallow treats in far-flung places, and the result is a pretty frickin’ adorable collection of photos that easily beat Amelie‘s similar work with garden gnomes.

It’s hard to decide what’s cuter: the peep posing as Ansel Adams at Yosemite or the “gladiator” peep with his marshmallow beasts at the Roman Coliseum. Either way, looking at these images is way more enjoyable than actually eating the little sugar bombs.
