“Mistrust” at Our Nation’s Capital

For jaded politicos (isn't that everyone?) and those just needing a little heart in lieu of the latest unfolding chapter of Palintology, Alexandre Arrechea's "Mistrust" could be the perfect serum. "Mistrust" is an incisive show that, without taking sides, diffuses the smoke and dust clouding the rhetoric of the RNC and DNC. Held at Washington DC's Katzen Arts Center at American University, Arrechea's exacting, interdisciplinary works explore the tension between public and private spheres of living -- and more importantly, the increasingly invasive presence of Big Brother. "Mistrust" runs through October 26.
