I also saw David Cross in Green Room and spent a couple hours trying to come up with something casually and incredibly hilarious that would one day make it into one of his sets. I did not.

Pistol closed on Aug. 1. FYI.

pistol is empty mostly because it’s shut down actually. this piece doesn’t allude to the fact that the mtl hipster community is shifting, expanding northward to little italy and the st-v coffee strip. or are you trying to make it appear to visitors to our city that “the buzz train has left the town” by sending them to the same haunts we would have written about 4-5 years ago?

if you want a really nice pint, try BENOLUX. hot babes, cool brews, and usually a footy match on the plasma screen

hey ben barna, why can’t daniel barna defend this “list” himself? who are you, his dad?

This was great and fun to read. P star, the “anthropologists” comment was a joke… but thanks for your insight into the migrating patters of the hipster community. (Oh and get a life).
