Jay Z is still big pimpin' with a new glammed-out sports club.

We’re not sure of the precise moment when Vegas crossed over from trashy to poshie destination, but the arrival of Jay Z clearly means that turning back is not an option. Mr. Beyoncé capped his 2007 by throwing a mad fête to launch the Sin City outpost of his glammed-out sports club 40/40, which modestly features dozens of high-tech viewing screens and even something called a Kenwood Vineyards Lounge.
Also arriving to fab up the desert paradise is Cathouse, louchely described as a “loungerie.” And continuing the move away from all the pre-millennial design austerity, Cathouse opts for Second Empire bordello style, a sort of lascivious opulence. Live lingerie-clad performers, “peepholes,” and vintage erotic films make the upscale dining seem even a bit beside the point.
