Understandable for the Cardigans to not play “Lovefool” all of the time. If bands started to really let the audience dictate playlists you would end up with every gig including at least a few covers of “Freebird”. I think whether or not that last comment would be seen as negative is probably more of a regional matter. I am not saying I dislike the song.

I have bad memories of Cat Power walking off stage at shows because some poor soul said the wrong think at the wrong time. Chan liked to keep her show going her way. Damn those 15-20 minute shows. At least back then they only cost $5-$10 and no more than 40-50 people showed up.
