PETA Pigs Out!

Mom called—she wants her nipple tassles and self-respect back.

In protest of something to do with animals and expectant pigs, PETA overtook Covent Garden in London with a Salma Hayek-sized pregnant woman. Naked. On all fours. In a cage. By the look of things, the only people paying attention are two thirsty kids sucking on pacifiers (pacifists!). On one blog, a commenter laments, "The woman at least is there on her own free will and after the picture ops are done, she's out. But not the pig. Never the pig." Sort of makes us laugh despite ourselves. —N.H.
