Thanks very much for this interview.  Ben Barna asks a lot of excellent questions that have been left out in recent interviews since the premiere.
After I saw the film I was dying to know what Petit’s reaction was to his co-conspirators statements about their relationship, a question it seems others were afraid to ask.

Thank you for a wonderful experience--it’s like watching Hailey’s Comet blaze through the sky.  Tout le reste est la litterature.

The best interview I found after hours of search for questions I would have asked about his behaviour after ‘the coup’ which kind of ended the film and its magic in a split second.

Good job…

I never knew Philippe Petit was famous when I met him!
He was a young man my age.  Sort of cute, with a smile to die for!  He was 25 and a few months.  He was out side Ringling Brothers Circus in December of 1974.  I had no TV so I didn’t know about his walk between the world trade center.  Philippe was nice, and nice to be around, and full of suprises.  He had a talent for magic! He was here to walk on our clouds.  Everybody loved Philippe!
