‘Sense & Sensibility & Sea Monsters’ Follows ‘Zombies’ Hit

After the wild, unbridled, stomping success of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, Quirk Books is planning another monster mash-up. Sense & Sensibility & Sea Monsters will follow the Misses Dashwoods and their pursuits of carriage-riding, courtship, and crumpets -- while pitting them against the perils of many-tentacled sea monsters. Scribe Ben H. Winters tells Entertainment Weekly, "I feel like people who really love Austen get it. Her novels are so strong, so cleverly constructed, so smart and dry, they really lend themselves to over-the-top violence." This stunning piece of literature will be "splashing ashore" September 15.
