From shaving nicks to persistent pimples, men have just as many skin problems as women (except for my mom, whose beard defies all logic). Men can benefit from such cosmetic lines as Clinique, Lancome and Clarins, which all now have skin care lines designed especially for men. Hello, Father’s Day gifts! Women aren't the only ones who deal with dark circles and blemishes, friends. Clinique, mastermind that it is, created M Cover, a cover up for men. Earlier today, BlackBook Fashion Market Editor Bryan Levandowski whipped out his own stick of M Cover and a mirror to hide some slight imperfection on his face. Now he looks like a Ken doll in short shorts. Anti-aging serums, gels, and lotions have been available for women for, well, ages. Now men can dodge wrinkles, crow’s feet, and other incriminating signs of age too with Lancome’s Anti-Age Perfecting Fluid.
Fruity flavors and sweet scent sensations are manufactured into women’s shaving cream everyday. Now, Clarins has a shaving cream for men that has rich, energizing plant extracts for an even closer, smoother shave. Could this mean the five o’clock shadow moves to seven or eight o’clock?
