Softening the 404 Error

Artist Kari Altmann aesthetizes the standard "Not Found" error page one comes across when following a dead or nonfunctional link; her version is a serene, pleasant, Jeremy Blake-esque composition that seems far more inviting than the standard 404 greeting. Blake is an artist remembered for directing scenes from Paul Thomas Anderson's Punch Drunk Love and the music video for Beck's "Round the Bend."

“LOL, 404.” That was pretty awesome. I *so* want to rip that off now and make my own like that, but I won’t because then I’d hate myself.
