The New York Bistro Dynasty

Last night, at a party to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Upper West Side institution Café Luxembourg, luminaries included journalist Steve Kroft and actress Kathleen Turner. But here's a nice generational tableaux for the New York bistro scrapbook. Center, Keith McNally, of Balthazar and Pastis and Morandi fame, among others; going left, that's his wife Alina, and at far left, Krista, the girlfriend of McNally's son Harry -- who has his arm around Dad. And to the right of Harry is Harry's mom, Café Luxembourg owner Lynn Wagenknecht. A veritable familial empire built on steak frites and crusty bread.
