Funniest interview so far. Kudos.

One correction: “In 1992, he wrote his first book on scent, which was the best-selling tome of its time in France.”

That should be “of its kind” not “of its time,” sadly for our pocketbooks.

Tom Ford’s PR has also contacted us to insist that he never said those things about crotches and cocaine. Never, never, never! I hereby encourage Tom Ford to come out and say these things, because they’re really funny and he should have said them.

“a comprehensive, lighthearted, hilarious look at, well, almost every perfume and cologne ever made.”
Comprehensive?  I don’t think so.  Many classics have been forgotten in this book.  This book contains very little perfume history.  It is pure opinion and doesn’t tell me much except the personal opinion of the authors. I am not interested in snarkiness, so I’ll pass on buying my own personal copy.
