Twitter Tip Tuesday

Twitter is pretty good for a lot of things: procrastination, sharing mobile uploads with total strangers, stalking Victoria's Secret models. As much as we like to pass time poring over @mrjoezee's barrage of tweets, Twitter can be a viable source of user-created information, and at the forefront of the tipsters, over-sharers, and experts are beauty junkies spilling word-on-the-street information. Some are total duds (contests, promotions, PR scams), but some are in dire need of being rounded up and corralled in a post that's a little less schizophrenic than Twitter. The inspiration came from @JessaBlades, a makeup artist and organic beauty guru who recommended that @BlackBook_Media should try an organic skin perfector. To make a long story short, I fell in love with the product, and I would have never known about the little miracle stick without this tweeter spilling her beauty secrets.

Twitter Tip: I’m in love with Vapour Beauty’s Stratus Instant Skin Perfector, incredible! try it!
Product:
Stratus is a yellow, balmy stick that has a hint of shimmer used to optically blur lines, wrinkles, and pores, as well as brighten a wintry complexion and even out tone. What’s more, the stick contains 70% certified organic ingredients and is 100% chemical free, natural, and made with wind power. Yes people, wind power. There is no testing on animals, and the product ant packaging is biodegradable/recyclable.
● Effects: It changes the game. I smoothed the flat stick over my cheeks, jaw, chin, and forehead, and smeared over my T-zone and under my eyes with my fingers. The primer rolled on smoothly, felt light and non-greasy, and left my face feeling powdery and finished. I went about doing my hair, and when I looked up, I realized I didn’t need foundation. Or lotion. It completely took an entire step out of my makeup routine. I dusted on some powder blush, which didn’t cake or collect pigment over balmy areas, smoothed on a bit of concealer (my favorite: Erase Paste from Benefit), and I was out the door.
● Bottom Line: Vapour Stratus and I are planning to live happily ever after, or until they discontinue it.
