Great interview. Gahan vanished up his own proverbial for a long time in his rock-star-knobhead routine back in the 1990s. Now he's cleam and more fulfilled both artistically and personally, he's revealed himself to be an interesting man with some astute observations about Depeche Mode.

I have to say there is no one like dave gahan and Depeche Mode. After all these years the raw talent and beauty in Dave and martins voices and bring you to tears. I am a fan of Brandon and The Killers as well and they are so luck to have met and spent time with one of Rocks greatest, Dave Gahan.

what a great interview! I haven't heard much of The Killers but now I think I'll have to check them out. Dave Gahan is a pure genius and inspiration. If you haven't heard any of his solo stuff I highly recommend "Hourglass". The new Depeche Mode album is amazing :) and I'm really looking forward to the tour :)

But Not Tonight is not on Black celebration. Depeche Mode never wanted the song to be a part of their art - of the album they had made. It was Sire who put the song on US version but the band were very much aganst it claiming it was a one day work simple pop tune they did not take seriously. DM have never played the track live either
