US Army Embraces Inner Fashionista

Fashion has long found inspiration in the traditional garb of the military -- think Napoleonic jackets, khaki hues, and knee-high boots. But now, for the first time, the US Army is cashing in on the trend. The Army is teaming up with Sears to bring you "the All American Army Brand's First Infantry Division clothing collection," which includes officially licensed marks and insignias. Price points are on easy on the wallet; looks range from $11.99 to $119.99. Meanwhile, profits from sales will benefit troops and their families. If Ralph Lauren can sell his Olympics-endorsed looks from this year's Beijing Games, why can't the military take credit for its own fashion-forward assault? Decide for yourself when the collection launches nationwide in October.
