While I Was Away: A Cautionary Tale

This little video, which is nothing more than a transcript of some progressively hilarious emails, is making ye olde internet rounds. The gist of the story is this: a guy goes on a backpacking trip through Europe for two weeks and claims he talked about it with his girlfriend before he left. She apparently was not listening, because she doesn't realize he's away and the emails she starts sending hit vitriol within a week of no contact. On the one hand, the emails get pretty funny, especially with his commentary tacked on, but on the other, it does seem pretty strange that she would really have not known he was going, and if the person I was dating cut off contact for two weeks, I might be pretty pissed too.
