Underground Tunnels Ideal for Hotel Conversion
November 26, 2008
Yotel is considering the existing Kingsway underground tunnels for a new budget hotel. The tunnels were previously used for air raid shelters, a reserve war room, and a public record office where secret documents were stored. At 100 feet deep, there would be no restaurants, gyms, or for that matter, windows. The rates would be about £20 per person per night, and the hotel cannot guarantee the safety of your valuables or person versus attacks from the mole people.
