Given that Alexander Wang is known for being an ultra-exclusive, somewhat intimidating capsule of cool, this is pretty damn awesome. To promote the spring 2013 T by Alexander Wang line, the cult-favorite fashion designer has just released a star-studded new video directed by Gavin McInnes that stars Mexican Native-American actress and comedienne Anjelah Johnson. Reprising her role as Bon Qui Qui of MADtv fame, her character plays the newest employee at Wang's NYC flagship store.
In true Bon Qui Qui form, she shocks customers with her rude treatment, starting with Alessandra Ambrosio. When the Victoria's Secret supermodel asks her to get a different size shoe, Bon fires back with, "They have, like, 300 shoes in there. I'ma get lost, so girl this is gonna WORK." Then, when pregnant model Shannon Click says she needs a shirt, Bon asks if she needs it "like a starving kid needs food." Rising rap star A$AP Rocky also makes a cameo, looking puzzled when Bon tries to hand him her new CD and starts dancing.
The best scene is most definitely when Barneys creative ambassador-at-large Simon Doonan is trying on a purse, which Bon thinks he's trying to steal. After saying he looks like a "baby toddler" wearing a "wallpaper shirt," she declares that the store "ain't no OshKosh B'gosh, so you better OshKosh be gone!" The manager, played by indie actress Natasha Lyonne, finally steps in to fire her. Watch it all below.
