Jesse Kamm’s L.A. Bloom
Why has no one thought of this before? To celebrate the release of her Spring ‘08 collection, L.A. designer Jesse Kamm debuts a new fashion film starring herself and actors Alison Lohman and Marley Shelton modelling her new threads. (Coming soon to Core Studio—watch Lohman bathe her hands in nailpolish!) Kamm, whose designs have been sported by everyone from Mary-Kate Olsen and Ellen Pompeo to Kirsten Dunst, is quickly building a reputation as the city of angels’ most fashionable fashionista. Marie Claire‘s Tracy Taylor, for example, says, “Jesse Kamm is one of the coolest designers going,” while Harper’s Bazaar explains, “L.A.’s hot name is Jesse… the fashion obsessed have found the next it thing.” Kamm’s trademark clothes include silk dresses, hand-printed tunics, and jackets—each handmade in, you guessed it, L.A. —N.H.
